Installation Safety

PowerHammer must be installed under and handled by an overhead crane with X,Y, and Z powered control with lifting capacity of at least 2 X the weight of the PowerHammer.

Work area must be safely isolated from all personnel other than the PowerHammer operator.

PowerHammer can impact remove very heavy metal casting objects and send them flying at the speed of an automobile.

Work area must have at least 2 safe, protected barrier walls cushioned with wood, rubber, or similar material to absorb impact of flying casting parts.

Work area must have a floor with a sand covering to absorb impact of flying casting parts.

PowerHammer creates sound exceeding 80dba when impacting casting parts.
